It's been a bit.....

since I've blogged, and well lots has been going on and happening. Last year ended with us running to the fracture clinic weekly with Taylor, to be sure that her the buckle break to her arm wasn't going to effect the growth plate. Then on the 13th of the first month of 2009, hubby was hit from behind when sitting still on the high way. Life here is one day at a time now, taking it easy and just getting by. As far as scrapping goes I haven't done alot. Gotta get my stuff in gear and tidy my space and get scrappin, I have the want just not the time, and once I do get down there I won't know what way to turn to organize things.

I've learned alot lately about friendships and who to trust. Just when I let my guard down I always seem to end up hurt. Recently there was an incident on one scrapbook site where things were a little hard to understand and accept, but with thinking I was the only one being personally attacked I just kept doing what I was doing and let things happen. It took a friend who I really didn't know was a friend to offer a helping hand and really help me in a big way. I'm grateful for that help and grateful for the friends I have made at The Shaker Box. I don't know just how to say thankyou to these women but I just want them to know that I think they are the most amazing, creative, caring people I've ever met, and with sharing one experience that wasn't so pleasant, we have become a group of friends that will let nothing like that hurt us again.

Also speaking of The Shaker Box, you've got to come on over. The site is growing, and the owner is one amazing woman who really knows what's kewl in the scrapping world and has everything available for you in her store.

Here's an altered item I did for the scrapbook store I design for, misc scrap paper, an old cd, some ribbon a button for bling, some adhesives and there yah go, one kewl wall hanging.

I am glad too! Even though we had to experience something bad, so much good has come out of it! Just being able to login every day and not have to deal with the constant, and so draining - drama... I am much more relaxed and so much happier at our new home. Linda is rocking it out! And I am so glad that you are finding your courage! That CD is awesome! You should do a class on it! Hmmm.... hugs girl and hang in there with all the medical stuff you are dealing with. We will all be praying for you!
